Senior Sports Therapist
Locations: Cheras and Bukit Bintang
Employment Type: Full-Time
Monthly Salary: From RM4,000, depending on experience and previous performance
The Opportunity
Take on a senior clinical role managing more complex cases, supporting junior team members and contributing to the continued improvement of our services.
This position is suitable for an experienced Sports Therapist who is ready to lead, take responsibility and support both clinical and operational development.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess and manage complex cases.
- Develop appropriate recovery, mobility and rehabilitation programmes.
- Deliver sports massage, manual-therapy and recovery services within your professional scope.
- Monitor client progress and maintain consistent service quality.
- Mentor and guide junior Sports Therapists.
- Lead case discussions and support internal training.
- Assist with team coordination, service development and operational improvements.
- Maintain accurate and timely client documentation.
- Support consistent clinical and service standards across different outlets.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Degree in Sports Medicine, Sport and Exercise Physiologist or Sports Science.
- Minimum two years of relevant clinical or sports-therapy experience.
- Experience managing multiple or complex cases.
- Previous exposure to team leadership, mentoring or management is an advantage.
- Membership with the Malaysian Association of Sports Medicine (MASM), where applicable.
- Able to communicate in English, Bahasa Malaysia and Chinese.
- Strong manual-therapy skills are highly encouraged.
- Must have personal transport.
- Willing to work across Cheras and Bukit Bintang when operationally required.
- Ready to lead, take responsibility and support junior team members.
